About Us

My mom's kitchen was one of my favorite places when I was a child. Mom was always cooking up special treats for us. My favorite was her delicious caramel apples. I could barely wait for them to cool, and the smell of the rich melting caramel would reach across the yard to the garden, urging me to complete my chores in record time. As I grew up, I became her right hand in the kitchen. Over the years she and I perfected her recipes by adding a pinch here and a twist there.

As fate and fancy would have it, I now live in North Georgia where some of the best apples in the country are grown. With so many fresh, sweet apples right in my own back yard, I started making gourmet apples as treats for my friends and family. Before I knew it, I had people calling and asking if they could buy my apples as treats for their families, friends and co-workers. I just couldn't turn them down, and I found myself in business.

One day my husband and I ran across an old trolley car. It was for sale and we decided to buy it and turn it into a traveling treat kitchen. Soon, the bright red trolley became our trademark at local fairs and events. We adopted the name Trolley Treats... and it has stuck with us and become our trademark.

By word of mouth, my business has continued to grow. I have added a variety of apple creations to the original, unbeatable caramel version. I now dip the crispest Granny Smith apples in chocolate too, and roll them in everything from nuts to homemade cinnamon crisp. I also offer chocolate dipped grahams, Oreos and pretzels -- and they have all been an overwhelming success.

I really love what I do. To say thank you, every once in a while I send my mom some treats. After all this all started with her. I will continue to pass on our tasty homemade traditions by delivering the freshest, most irresistable treats to my customers.
